The Montessori philosophy is based on the scientific findings of Maria Montessori and works to empower children to take charge of their own learning. In turn they build skills, responsibility and self-confidence. The foundation built from individualized lessons in academics and social interactions in a multi-age classroom stay with students throughout their lives.
MOLO only employees AMS or AMI certified Montessori lead teachers. It is vitally important that each classroom has trained and certified teachers to implement the philosophy and curriculum as Montessori intended. It is not enough for a school to have Montessori materials in the classrooms, but should have a teachers who know the purpose of each work and how to lead students in each exercise.
Unlike many facilities where admin have degrees in business, the Administrative team at MOLO is made up of certified Montessorians who have all been through the same rigorous training as teachers and are dedicated to implementation of the Montessori philosophy.
